It also walks users through past ballot propositions to help them understand the pros and cons viewpoints of each of the oppositions stances. Then, upon voting, helps redirect or confirm that their choice aligns with their personal values. The GradVote app is also used in the classroom as a participation aggregator for teachers to initiate important social, economic and demographic discussions around civics and voting in America.
